We live in a where society where everyone wants our attention, our "to do" lists are endless, we are consumed by responsibilites, competition, demand and this list can go on.
In a 2001 survey of Americans—who are putting in an extra 40 hours per year compared to 10 years prior, nearly half described their office environment as "most like a real life survivor program." And according to the World Health Organization, work-related stress, anxiety and depression will become the leading cause of disability in the next 20 years.
We stress about money, work, deadlines, household responsibilites, relationships, economy... you can finish this sentence. The questions becomes how to release the stress. The very first step towards releasing stress is slowing down, sitting and going within. It is the realization that the stress is not outside of ourselves, the cause is within. When we deny a part of ourselves, it creates stress within. Part of the solution is to look at ourselves as a whole being. We are not just a physical body, we are also spiritual beings, mental beings, emotional being, intellectual beings. It is the recognition of all that will create wellness within.
Take a 5 minute break away from 'life', go within and listen to yourself, listen to your intuition. You have all your answers within, now let's learn how to access our own information.
Imagine connecting the base of your spine to the center of the planet with a line of energy. Imagine being connected to the planet, being grounded to the planet and being present in the moment. Now notice the effect it has on your body.
